Chatsworth Hills Academy Fund

The first and most important donation for the immediate benefit of all CHA students, faculty and programs: An annual campaign to enrich and expand opportunities in general needs, academics, arts, athletics, campus improvements, faculty development, financial assistance, and technology.

Contributions to the Chatsworth Hills Academy Fund provide for essential enhancements that expand each student's experiences and enrich every individual journey from Early Childhood through Middle School. The CHA Fund consists of a group of individual funds in support of the operating budget. From these funds, the donor can choose those representing the contributor's interest.

Contributions to the Chatsworth Hills Academy Fund support:

General Need

In a traditional Annual Giving Campaign, this would be the only designation for an annual gift. A truly unrestricted gift and often the optimum contribution for an independent school, this fund permits CHA to direct the contribution to the area within the operating budget of greatest importance to students.

Academics
Donations to this fund support scholastic endeavors in all major disciplines throughout Early Childhood, Lower School, and Middle School. These gifts provide all students the academic advantage of achieving at high national levels while at Chatsworth Hills Academy and later in selective secondary schools and colleges/universities.

Arts
CHA's outstanding art program has developed the interests and talents of many students throughout their journey at our school. Additionally, our numerous opportunities within instrumental and choral music as well as theater ignite the passion of students from Early Childhood through Grade 8.

Athletics
Interscholastic athletics provide important lessons for students involved in team sports: teamwork, sportsmanship, hard work, discipline, courage and leadership. The athletic program at CHA fields teams with a "no cut policy" for grades 4 through 8 in Boys Flag Football, Girls and Boys Basketball, Girls and Boys Soccer, and Girls Volleyball.

Campus and Facilities
In great measure, the 16 acre campus with its lovely grounds creates an extraordinary setting of serenity and safety - so essential for learning. Contributing to this Fund allows CHA to sustain our site and undertake repairs and small renovations.

Faculty Development

Professional development is an essential element in all outstanding teachers. This fund expands the opportunities for our faculty to visit other selective independent schools, to enroll in graduate study, to attend conferences and workshops, or to enjoy current professional materials which provide for sustained growth of all CHA faculty.

Financial Assistance
Chatsworth Hills Academy is committed to providing the necessary resources for attendance of students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Contributions to this Fund provide a helping hand to deserving families seeking the highest quality education for their son or daughter.

Technology
Technology touches the life of every CHA student and is a constantly changing arena. New and upgraded hardware and software as well as expert staff are a perennial need for CHA. From the website to newsletters, from teachers to staff and from Early Childhood to Grade 8, technology needs our continual support.

The Chatsworth Hills Academy Fund supports the CHA operating budget. The school retains the option of using the funds to support the school's general operations should contributions exceed expenditure limits approved for a particular fund.
